For the last five years, Haverim’s Free Pharmacy has been supplying more and more poor, needy, handicapped and elderly people with the medicine they simply can’t afford. We’ve been making sure they no longer have to choose between medicine – and food.
But mailing out 4,400 packages a month still doesn’t address all the needs of our community, especially those unable to even reach their post office to retrieve their medicine. We must extend our reachand make sure every person in need receives their medicine.
The Mobile Pharmacy Van extends the reach of our existing Free Pharmacy project by use of mobile vans. The van regularly reaches dozens of cities and settlements throughout the country, providing life-saving medicine and devices, supplements, advice and guidance, all for free.
