From July 6 to 10 the Haverim young adults were invited to an amazing summer camp that spanned the entire country! The camp started off with an opening event that offered trampolines, a rich food court and fun activity stations organized by the amazing Elia Ezra Hadar Ganim garin.
We then continued to a crazy henna party at the Gula club. Fun!
The second day at camp saw us driving jeeps from the Reut Ulpana all the way to the Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem where we spent the day . Evening prayers were held at the Western Wall where we also took the traditional group portrait!
Tuesday morning we set up north to Kfar Kedem at the Hoshaya viewpoint. We had lunch followed by a cruise at Ein Gev and from there we continued to Keshet Yehonatan, where Avi, Hila and their friends set up an exciting evening for us all: A drumming circle, food courts FULL of candies (barely any healthy food at all! Yum!), a talented magician, magnets printed with our picture, karioki and plenty of other surprises.
In the fourth day we started off bright and early to the Kfar Blum kayaks followed by a sumptuous lunch at the Hagoshrim Hotel. Due to the security situation in the country, we decided to stay another night in the Golan Heights and returned to Keshet Yehonatan for a spontaneous evening of group activities.
The following morning we visited the Kiryat Motzkin zoo and from there we were wowed by the awesome final party at the Reut Ulpana.
This year was a GREAT summer camp for both the participants and the mentors. Let’s meet again next year!!!
