The four civil service volunteers arrive at 'Haverim' after completing at least one year of civil service volunteering.

Their second year of volunteering at Haverim challenges them with new experiences and different types of people. They learn to overcome obstacles and must confront human suffering in hospitals and rehabilitation clinics. They witness the extraordinary braveness of children that must overcome pain and physical limitations day after day. 

During this year, the team volunteers twice a week at one of our partner institutions, educational or health. The rest of the week is spent at Haverim offices, organizing the dozens of weekly, monthly and yearly events held for handicapped children and for children with special needs.

They bring warmth and smiles and courage to their work, not to mention great ideas and immense energies!
